can someone explain me how can a bot surfs? and what the reason they do this?

Lol no.

The search machines such as Google, Altavista and Yahoo use bots to search information out of most forums so they can wide up their search. In theory this means that they save the topics (public ones) to their database. So the search you do with Google (for example) includes hits from this forum also. Without these, none could find any forum with any searchmachine. These kinda bots doesn't do any harm and they are used only for the good of the users (searchers).

And Slayer, spambots are something different. They are regular users (registered ones, not categorized as "Bots") posting messages mostly including porn or other harmful stuff. You should never open such urls in posts made by spambots. They WILL harm your computer.
