Co-op games: Dead Space Extraction
In my time I have played some great co-operative games. This is one of them.
Dead Space was a suprise hit on pc and consoles. Except for Wii. When this came out I had to buy it as the game had provided me some scary moments including a great storyline.
Dead Space Extraction was a bit different from PC, Xbox360 and PS3 versions as it turned out to be a rail shooter. You move with your character and basically shoot almost anything coming along the way. Then you have to repair broken computer chips, add codes when needed and listen to the story unfolding. You can have your friend playing the game as the second character that is with anyway. Great shooting and gathering of ammo and following the story. The only "bad" thing about Dead Space Extraction is that if you play with a friend the scary factor is a lot less than with a single player campaign.
Extraction came only for Wii, but when Dead Space 2 is coming next year it will have Dead Space Extraction as a bonus, so PS3, Xbox360 owners can try this one out. Dunno if PC-version has this game included. Only for one or two players so no massive action yet. You should try it out.
Here is a sample gameplay from the beginning. Watch it or not:

Dead Space is fps-game, but Extraction it is a lot like Time Crises etc. You have only limited movement to do as the game progress by itself as players have aim and shoot at the monsters or targets most of the times.

Heh, the original game of Dead Space is lot like that. You barely can open the doors of the abandoned and burned space ships and not think about the creatures waiting for your arrival. And of course you have only about 3 bullets in you weapon and no extra bullets in sight
Extraction has loads of fun if you play it as co-op

This video is a comparison between Wii and PS3 versions. A bit sharper than the Wii version, but it is the same game.
PS3-version uses Move addon so you can motion your way through. A suprise is that you can use your original controller to play this too, but it is really done for Move/Wiimote, so get it
Selling as an extra if you buy the Dead Space 2 PS3 game, but you can get it as one game for 15€ on PSN store. Not bad!
No version for Xbox360 Kinect yet.
