I would understand the 'commercial shit' if the headset was priced 100 euros cause it has name Fatal1ty on it.. Only thing is that it performs really well for a 30 euros headset.
Anyways, Steelseries 7H or Siberia V2 are pretty good.

Ear Force Z2
Some of my friends use this. They have been happy with it. Goes around this side of the Atlantic for about 60€ .
I use Logitech myself, but the sound quality on my very light headset is nowhere near as good as this.

senheiser hd 201
I have this one:
Price you can find it on internet: 12€ (probably less if you search good). I think that:
Sound quality: 15/20
Ergonomy: 16/20
Value for money: 19/20!!!

Re: HEADSETS
I wouldn't buy a headset over 40 euros since like Elecktr said you have a intergrated soundcard which will limit the quality on the audio you will get from the headset... I don't use a headset alot and now i got a 10 euros cheap one that is similiar to the one phoenix posted but in my opinion the most important thing about a headset is not the audio quality but how they fit on your head. A bad fit will give me a headache while a good one i can wear for ages. Koss makes great headsets and i agree with Elecktr HQ2 is a great headset and have gotten alot of good reviews and they are comfortable :s
EDIT: Ah so that you already ordered

Re: HEADSETS
Those headset actually looks really nice. I like the color balance in them beetwen red and black/dark grey and they seem to be very stylish, comfortable, a cord that you can split up which makes them easy to pack a and they seem to be made of somekind of leightweight material making them easy to carry.
