Casual players

Since my great application was rejected I have been talking to a few members who have not tried scrims previously.
I would like to try 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4 games if we can find perhaps not the world's best players to try and look how it goes.

Me, Ed'Hardy and L0gan are willing to try if we can.
I have not chatted about this with Czaki or leaders of WAR but I see no reason why we should not have some fun on our scrim server if nobody else is not using it when we decide to try it. If anyone is interested such a low glass playing just add your comment here in this thread.

I am in! i try to take some memmbers to private server few times/week but it never happends They always said yeah lets go and stay at public -_-' and i didnt play etpro for ages, anyway let me know when you guys wanna play and i am in...

In a scrim the point is to do the obj, not to frag, so it's not unfair at all

if you want any advices or if you need players I always can help you and I think I will accept every apply for semi line up ( still 5 players in basic team but imo we can have there as many back up as we want [ comparing to elite line up I'm not gonna do more backups ]) Anyway you can always speak to me on xf :>

and maybe some of the active people could join the st after few days/weeks, to help to make it be active.

Me would rather see a "low" and active ST rather than a "supposed" pro inactive ST.

I could join ST if they want me... in times of [KdG] ( good days of MFZ) like 3 years ago me and Mon$ter were spending our lives at Etpro and plays 2-3 scrims/day. If trainings are at goot hours for me i will be there too

We just did a scrim with L0gan and Bananas, it's good for people who have never scrimmed to get used to it.

Well usually edglobe,hunter,iveech,me,napalm,slayer,buster and some of others war members often do 3v3 when they're online,you just ask in xfire and we play

i think its better to do st for 3v3,Cause 5o5 is shit when you dont got good trainer/leader and low players

If it is just for fun i will consider playing some matches, i haven't scrimed alot like 1-2 matches because i hate it when it's so serious, im not really pro and everyone knows i got time to play like 24/7 so im in :s

I tried this for the first time in ages. And the experience was not good one.

Some things that sucked:
No idea what to do. Really.
Teamwork was not clear.
Medics killing and sk allowed.
DONT EVER PLAY ENGY!
Not much fun.

Some things that were good:
Etpro was fun and I seemed to aim ok.

Scrimming seems to be only for pro players. My gamestyle of kamikaze engy did not fit on this at all.
There seems to be an interesting gameplay in itself, but I did not enjoy my first expedition into scrimming much.

As Bitchy said this game mode is way too serious. Did not enjoy it all that much. If you want to try this find players that are more to your own levels. I tried it with pros and the feeling was like running on an open field with constant arty pounding your positions through the entire map.

Maybe I will try this again but I would not count on it. If you like objective gamestyle stay as far from this as you can. If you like to try be prepared to experience the realisation that you really cant help your team as an engy. Useless class if there ever was one. Lie dead and dream that you are on objective server

Well Drift if you would play some more scrims you will find out that you only need a engineer 20% of the time. Also playing scrims on a low lvl is kinda boring since teamwork ain't that important.

And scrims are about the objective game style. You are used to play objectives on public lvl which is totally different from matches.

Dude u tryed Etpro for the first time :PP its good u did it with czaki but with time u will learn it easy :PP
And also helps to get better aim

Of course first time is boring but after many matches(well if you had teacher first,he have to do some matches with you,get angry at you,show you what did you do wrong etc)you will know some trick,guess where opponents can be ,what you should do in each situation etc,Be eng on pub is different than be eng on match,on pub i always goes in place nobody checked and it often worked,in match you have to be more smart

I was looking for some casual fun. Did not find any.
I soon realised that I had totally wrong mind set for the scrim.

I wrote down my previous message soon after the scrim was over in my part. Just to let anyone else trying scrim for the first time not to let the image of the game be too glorious. There is a long road ahead for those who would like to try and learn a new gamestyle.

There is a great possibility to have fun. But not for everyone and I can find my casual fun easier from elsewhere.

I am willing to try scrim again, but I wont be the most enthusiastic supporter of it.
Maybe this is the thing that will help me stop being an engineer... (Now there is a thought well worth thinking of!)
