Resolution problem

I got a problem with the resolution of ET.
I can't play in fullscreen, If i change the resolution than crashed my ET.
Can somebody help me?
I got a laptop with windows 7.

r u sure that your laptop supports this resolution ?

seta r_customheight "1280"
seta r_customwidth "720"

you most probably need to do them opposite so like this:

seta r_customheight "720"
seta r_customwidth "1280"

just invert the resolution. i think thats the prob.

Just reinstall et and play without cfg

LOL the resultion on ur config is different.

do this

seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"

it should work.

You can try this, I'm far to be sure that it will solve your problem but never know...

1- Delete your profiles in etmain and jaymod folders, and also the file etconfig.cfg (in etmain folder)
2 - delete this line from your cfg: seta r_mode "-1"
3 - rename your config to something like blablablaba.cfg (no "autoexec.cfg")
4 - launch the game, create a new profile.
5 - join the server and watch if the profile persists.
6 - if the problem is gone, then now do /exec blablablabla.cfg
7 - watch if the problem is solved
8 - tell us the result here!

I think martino got this problem also, He got also a laptop with windows 7.

OH WAIT OMG I REMEMBER NOW.I HAD THAT PROBLEM TOO OMG. man ur lazy u didnt even search google XD

Add this to your shortcut of ET -> right click -> properties -> Target: "(directory)" +r_mode "-1" +r_customwidth "1920" +r_customheight "1080" +cg_fov "115" +set com_hunkmegs "256" +vid_restart

IT WILL WORK the fov make it what cg_fov you have atm.
